Faith and Belief Forum KS3 Workshop
Students in KS3 had the opportunity to take part in a Faith and Beliefs Forum Event called "Encountering Faith and Belief" where they had the chance to speak with two different visitors who have different world views. This time, students were able to speak with a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and a follower of Sanatana Dharma. Both gave testimony about how their faith has shaped them in their lives, and the adversity and difficulties they have faced along the way. Students were then able to ask questions about their journey and other questions about the faith that they live by. Students asked questions sensitively and with great passion.
There was a lot of active participation and the guests were in awe of the quality of questions being asked. This is yet another event in collaboration with the Faith and Belief Forum who continue to work alongside Preston Manor School.
Many workshops are planned for later this year so.... watch this space!
