Geography beyond Key Stage 3
On Thursday 6 February, we welcomed two former students who delivered a presentation to the Geography Department aimed at encouraging our Year 9 girls to continue studying Geography beyond Key Stage 3.
While GCSE Geography tends to be more popular amongst boys, we hope the event sparked enthusiasm and motivation amongst all attendees.
Five alumni contributed to the presentation, each sharing their experiences of studying Geography at both GCSE and A-Level. The event was well-attended by Year 9 girls, as well as current GCSE students (both boys and girls), with the goal of inspiring them to continue studying the subject post-GCSE.
We hope the event provided valuable insights for all participants, highlighting the exciting opportunities Geography can offer for the future.
