Reading Ambassadors raise funds
Our Lower School Reading Ambassadors held daily sales this week to raise money for their reading shed. They sold squishies, pencils and cakes. They managed to raise £330, plus £100 they raised at the Christmas Fair.
They have already had a meeting with Mr. Bishop to select a suitable shed that can be placed out in the main entrance area. Mr. Bishop will assemble the shed when it arrives.
Children across the school will then be able to have books to read at breaktimes. The reading ambassadors will have a rota to manage the upkeep of the shed, including raising money for more books after they have surveyed the children. We look forward to the shed being ready to use in March.
