Celebration at Preston Manor Sixth Form Examination Results

Preston Manor is proud to announce that its students have achieved exceptional results in the 2024 A-Level and vocational examinations. These results reflect the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of both students and staff, and reinforce the school’s commitment to academic excellence for all.


Here is a taste of our highlights:

  • Megan Finn achieved an A* A A and will be going on to study Medicine at Imperial.
  • Having achieved an A* A A A,  Munajjina Chowdhury will be going on to study Mathematics, Statistics, and Business at the LSE.
  • Yunus Khan will be going on to study Engineering at King's College London, having achieved an A*A B.
  • Zeinab Abdallah achieved an A* A  A and has a place at the University of Bath to study Biochemistry.
  • May Lat, who achieved an A A B, will be studying Neuroscience at Queen Mary University London
  • Hussein Omar achieved A A B and will also go to Queen Mary University London to study Computer Science.


Ms Wilding, Sixth Form Lead for Progression & Enrichment, who has supported the students applying for university courses, said “So many of our students have secured places on some fabulous courses at great universities. We are delighted with what they have achieved and wish them all the best for the future!”

Mr Phillips, Head of Upper School added, “I’m extremely proud of all the students for the level of commitment they have shown to achieving the grades they have. I wish them all the very best of luck with the next stage of their education.  I’d also like to congratulate Ms Surani and the cohort as a whole for achieving a stronger set of results than the previous year in all key outcome measurements.  The future looks bright!"

Ms Surani; Senior Assistant Head Teacher who leads the Sixth Form, stated: “Our students continue to achieve well, and this year is no exception! We are extremely proud of their efforts and are so pleased that they have been rewarded by achieving excellent grades and securing their places at their first choice Universities.”

In addition to academic success, Preston Manor continues to foster well-rounded individuals who excel in extracurricular activities, community service, and leadership.
