Physics student field trip

On Friday 14 March, a field trip was organised from Tottenham Hotspur to Stoke Bruerne to explore the historic canal and river systems and learn about the engineering and physics behind them.

The primary purpose of this trip was to give students a deeper understanding of hydrology, canal systems, and their operational mechanics.

Students gained valuable insights into the field of hydrology and canal engineering. The three sections of the trip allowed for a balanced combination of theoretical learning, practical application, and hands-on experience.

The journey provided students with a greater appreciation of the complexities of managing large bodies of water and the importance of sustainable water practices. The interactive and engaging nature of the trip will undoubtedly enhance their understanding of these critical concepts in both environmental science and engineering.
