Olive Branch Leaders attend a Peace Building Conference
On Monday 24th March, the Olive Branch Leaders attended a Peace Building Conference run by Solutions Not Sides.
In this conference they were able to learn more about the Israel-Palestine Conflict from those who have experienced it and were able to explore the idea of culture and what their culture means to them.
They then worked with other Sixth Formers from across the country to create a project to explore the idea of 'What does it mean to be a Bridge Builder in my community?'. They developed their critical thinking and empathy skills which they can bring back to Preston Manor and share with our school community.
