Year 11 Key Information

Welcome to the dedicated Year 11 page that includes information to support the final stages of the GCSE journey. Included are important dates, revision information and exam timetable. 

The Pastoral Team has been impressed with the positive attitude and motivation shown by our Year 11 students since they returned to school in September. 

Some key upcoming dates for Year 11 are:

  • Welcome to Year 11 Evening: This was a great opportunity for parents and students to find out about the structure of this vital exam year and to hear from Heads of English, Maths, and Science about how best to support excellent achievement. A recap of what was discussed can be found below.
  • Friday 18th October
    Progress Check 1 - the first collection of assessment data this academic year for Year 11 students 
  • Drop Down Day
    Thursday 14th November - A day for Year 11 students to work on developing key skills for success and to reflect on their approaches to life and learning
  • Year 11 PPEs
    Monday 18th November - Thursday 28th November - Year 11 students’ preparation GCSE assessments under formal exam conditions
  • Year 11 PPE Results Day and Parents Evening
    Thursday 9th January 2025 - Students will formally collect their PPE results, followed by Parents Evening where teachers will provide guidance on excellent progress in specific subjects
