London Mavericks inspire GCSE PE students!
Our Year 11 GCSE PE students had the fantastic opportunity to participate in a netball session led by the London Mavericks.
The session began with an invasion warm-up game before the KS4 students demonstrated their passing, dodging and footwork skills in a range of drills. The GCSE PE students finished the session with short 6-minute games where they rotated positions and showed their understanding of the offside rules.
This training session with the London Mavericksh as resulted in some other netball opportunities happening, including attendance at a London Mavericks x Nike launch event and free tickets to a London Mavericks netball game in the summer.
Well done to our Year11 GCSE PE students who had outstanding attitude and enthusiasm, and represented our school perfectly.
